Finding Audrey – By Sophie Kinsella

This is a very nice, quite hilarious and easy to read book.

It’s a story of a girl named Audrey, who is suffering from Social Anxiety Disorder. Due to which, she was unable to face, talk or even make an eye contact with people who are out of her comfort zone….

Suddenly she met with a guy called Linus who is her brother’s video game partner and her school mate too. Whom she used to like once upon a time because of his Orange Sliced Smile.

And now this guy with his Orange Sliced Smile started talking to her through his funny notes. Which made Audrey feel like she can do things beyond her comfort zone.

It’s a story about a family, lovers and how affectionately with lots of love and care they cured, helped and found back the lost Audrey who has incarcerated herself in a Dark Room with her dark glasses to the normal world once again.

Again a good read for beginners.

Gently Falls The Bakula – By Sudha Murthy

Gently Falls The Bakula – By Sudha Murthy

An amazing book a well woven and very beautiful knit Love Story.

Gently Falls The Bakula is a story of a couple named Shrimati and Shrikant, who were brilliant students of their school in Hubli. They both respectively stood First and Second into their Board Exams. Later Shrikant discovers that he strangely attracts towards Shrimati, who is a plain charming looking girl. Shrimati also falls in love the amiable and handsome looking Shrikant. They both got married and later the problem arises as Shrikant has immersed himself into his work to achieve success and reached the pinnacle of his industry. He has lost the balance between his Love life and Professional life and totally ignored the best and beautiful part of his Life, i.e. his loving wife Shrimati who has abandoned her academic aspirations and became his docile, unambitious wife like a shadow, silently fulfilling her duties as a corporate leader’s wife. But while talking to one of her professor, she has realized what she has done with her life, which has become dismally empty….

Its a story of a marriage which losses its way, as ambition and self-interest take their toll.

The book is well written in easy language, a good read for new readers. Madam Sudha Murthy is one of those authors who believe to keep things simple with great meanings.

Here, There and Everywhere – By Sudha Murthy

Here, There and Everywhere – By Sudha Murthy

Ohhh… What a writing the author has, its so simple, so deep, heart touching and meaningful.
Madam Sudha Murthy has not only shared her life experiences in this book but also taught us the basic and core values of life in a very simple language. Each and every chapter of this book is worth reading. You will get to learn a lot more from this book, however the best takeaways from the book or I can say the lines impacted me a lot are ” Whenever you want to give something to somebody, give the best in you, never the second best”.
and a Prayer which says ” O God, I don’t need a kingdom nor do I desire to be an Emperor, I don’t want rebirth or the Golden vessel of Heaven. I don’t need anything from you. O Lord, If you want to give me something, then give me a soft heart and hard hands, so that I can wipe the tears of others.” The concept of ” Philanthropy ” is worth adopting to make change in someones life. Because it isn’t about how much a person has but their attitude towards fellow beings. As it is compassion, a kind word, a warm hug and a little sharing that makes us better human beings. If we are lucky enough to be rich , then we can help more people. If a person can be a leader with compassion and a good attitude, then he or she can make a definite change in Society.
